Privacy
Text you paste as a sample is sent to the detector, scored, and dropped. We keep a hash of it (so the same passage can't be submitted twice), the word count, where in the book you said it came from, and the score. We can't get the text back from that and neither can anyone else.
Files you upload for a private check are read once and the text is kept, unscored, until your payment goes through, for at most 24 hours. Then it's scored and the text is deleted. The result page lives at an unguessable link for 30 days and then it's deleted too. Payment is handled by Stripe; we never see your card, and we keep the email you paid with only to send you the link if you lose it.
Rate limits use a daily hash of your IP address and browser, which we can't reverse. Analytics run through PostHog on EU servers. Emails you give us for a reply are used to reply, and for nothing else.
The site is run from Finland. Questions to the contact address in the footer.
